Horry County Schools will host Transportation Day on Thursday, July 30, to help families confirm or update student bus transportation information before the start of the 2026-27 school year. Families who have experienced transportation changes since completing online registration or who need to confirm their student’s bus route, bus stop, pickup time, or drop-off time are encouraged to visit the bus office that serves their child’s school. Bus offices will be open from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. to assist families.

This past school year, HCS students read 68 million pages, and they're still going strong. They've already logged around 900 thousand pages this summer, and there's plenty of summer left. Don't forget to participate in our Summer Reading Challenge and log your pages in Beanstack ASAP!

Congratulations to the individuals who finished in the top 8 in the 1A State Finals held at Spring Valley High School on May 16th!
Trojan Boys finished 3rd with a total of 61 points. Trojan Girls finished 4th with a total of 49 points.
